A 3-day practical course designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to step confidently into food and beverage attendant roles.  Develop practical front-of-house skills in hospitality service, customer service, and how to safely serve alcohol.   Suitable for those seeking entry level work in hospitality front of house or looking for a career change.

  • Nationally recognised statement of attainment SITHFAB021: Provide responsible service of alcohol 

  • Liquor Control Victoria Certificate* 

  • Statement of participation for Introduction to food safety

*Liquor Control Victoria issue your RSA Certificate of Completion. To receive this certificate, you must complete Liquor Control Victoria’s online module, Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond.

  • Introduction to food safety 
  • SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol {accredited unit of competency} 
  • Customer service, food and beverage service skills 

Course delivery  

Classroom based under the support and guidance of experienced hospitality Trainer and Assessor. 

Times: 9.30am- 4pm 

Days: 3 days   

Assessment 

Online assessments, practical activities, role plays, workplace scenarios

There are no prerequisites 

Requirements 

You will need the following to complete your application: 
 
1. USI number –  You must have a USI number prior to applying for a course

If you do not have a USI you can create a USI here: www.usi.gov.au/providers/create-usi-student 
2. Email address and login details in order to complete the  language, literacy and numeracy quiz and course application 

Fees and Charges 

$4,200 for core units (equivalent to $140 per student per day for a group of 10)
