A three day practical course designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to step confidently into food and beverage attendant roles. Develop practical front-of-house skills in hospitality service, customer service, and how to safely serve alcohol.   Suitable for those seeking entry level work in hospitality front of house or looking for a career change.

*Liquor Control Victoria issue your RSA Certificate of Completion. To receive this certificate, you must complete Liquor Control Victoria’s online SHARPR training. It may take up to 48 hours to receive the LCV email with Learning Hub account setup instructions.

  • SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol {accredited unit of competency} 
  • Customer service, food and beverage service skills 

Course delivery  

Classroom based under the support and guidance of experienced hospitality Trainer and Assessor. 

Times: 9.00am- 4:00pm 

Days: 3 days

Online assessments, practical activities, role plays, workplace scenarios 

Privacy

To facilitate the issuance of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, we must share your personal and assessment details with the relevant Victorian regulators:
  • For students completing RSA training, your details will be provided to the LCV Liquor Control Victoria to ensure your certificate is validly recorded and to allow for future refresher training.

Requirements 

You will need the following to complete your application: 
 
1. USI number –  You must have a USI number prior to applying for a course  
You can locate your USI by visiting here: www.usi.gov.au/students/find-your-usi 
If you do not have a USI you can create a USI here: www.usi.gov.au/providers/create-usi-student 
2. Email address and login details in order to complete the  language, literacy and numeracy quiz and course application 

Fees and Charges 

$4,200 for core units (equivalent to $140 per student per day for a group of 10)
