This 3-day practical, entry-level course is designed to equip jobseekers with the essential skills they need to step confidently into the workforce. Combining financial literacy with nationally recognised units in food safety and responsible service of alcohol, this program builds both life skills and vocational skills. Ideal for those pursuing roles in hospitality, customer service or retail.

Course content 

Financial literacy – personal budgeting, wages, taxes, superannuation 

SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol 

SITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety 

Course delivery  

Classroom based under the guidance of our qualified RSA and Food Safety Trainer and Assessor. 

3 days from 9am- 4pm  

Assessment 

Online assessments, practical activities, role plays, workplace scenarios

Requirements 

You will need the following to complete your application: 
 
1. USI number – You must have a USI number prior to applying for a course

2. Email address and login details in order to complete the language, literacy and numeracy quiz and course application

$ 4, 000 (Equivalent to $111 per person per day for a group of 12)
