F.R.E.E. is a 4-day training course designed to prepare you for entry-level work in hospitality and provide strategies for better managing your wages.
F – Foundational Skills – Learn the core of hospitality: Responsible service of alcohol, food safety, customer service
R – Real-World Experience – Hands-on training with coffee making using an espresso machine and customer interactions.
E – Employment Ready – Gain the confidence and tools to step into the workforce and thrive
E – Employability Skills – Transferable for work and study
This course is a Centrelink approved activity if it contributes towards your mutual obligation requirements to meet your job search requirements. People with a disability are encouraged to apply.
What you will gain

Course content
Core units
Introduction to food safety
SITHFAB021 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol
Introduction to coffee making / barista and customer service and hospitality skills
Optional Elective
Financial literacy
Course delivery
Classroom based using an espresso machine under the support and guidance of experienced hospitality Trainer and Assessor.
Times: 9.30am- 4pm
Days: 4 days for core units plus 1 day for the optional elective
Assessment
Online assessments, practical activities, role plays, workplace scenarios

You will need the following to complete your application:
1. USI number – You must have a USI number prior to applying for a course

2. Email address and login details in order to complete the language, literacy and numeracy quiz and course application
Fees and Charges
$5,300 for core units (equivalent to $132.50 per person per day for a group of 10)
$6,600 for core units and the optional elective (equivalent to $132 per person per day for a group of 10)
