Under the guidance of our experienced trainer, you will prepare and cook simple meals and snacks. Learn about hygienic food practices and how to safely use kitchen utensils and appliances.

This course is a Centrelink approved activity. People with a disability are encouraged to apply.

 

What you will gain

  • Confidence and skills to prepare simple meals

  • Confidence and skills to safely use kitchen equipment

  • Knowledge of basic food safety and food hygiene

Course delivery

Classroom based, access to a  kitchen, cooking equipment and utensils. Supportive and knowledgeable trainer

6 sessions x 4 hours per session

Do I have to pay?
There is no cost to you if you are eligible for Adult Community & Further Education (ACFE) funding. For more information on eligibility please go to Adult Community Further Education ACFE
If you are not eligible for Adult Community & Further Education (ACFE) funding fees will apply.
