Combines practical training on how to operate a commercial espresso machine to make a range coffees with skills and knowledge in safe and hygienic food practices. Training is face to face under the guidance of our supportive and experienced trainers. Suitable for people looking to enter the hospitality industry.

This course is a Centrelink approved activity. People with a disability are encouraged to apply.

SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety* 
SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee
* SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety is a pre-requisite for enrolling in SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee

Course Delivery

Classroom based, using a commercial espresso machine with supportive and knowledgeable trainers.
4-day course 

Assessment

Practical activities, case studies, written exercises, online assessments
