Ready to transform an old piece of furniture or craft your own unique timber project? Hammertime 2 is here to help! Whether you're interested in repairing, recycling, or upcycling, our expert trainer will guide you every step of the way in our fully equipped workshop. Suitable for women interested in a trade as a career path or those wanting to learn how to use hand and power tools.

Course delivery  

Delivered in our fully equipped workshop under the guidance of our experienced carpenter/ trainer

9 hours of training over 2- 3 days 

About our trainer 

Maylei is passionate about building strong communities and empowering others through life skills, sustainability, and creative furniture upcycling. They currently teach, at several, Women’s sheds across Melbourne and are an experienced Community Arts Worker. 

Prerequisites 

Participants must have completed Hammertime or an introductory woodworking course and are required to please bring a small wooden piece of furniture to work on.

Cost is $495 per person plus transaction fees
